If you are interested in growing magic mushrooms (if legal where you live) or are simply a microscopy enthusiast you probably know that psilocybe cubensis spore syringes can be expensive...
Fortunately there are a few projects that do some great work on this area, Free Spore Ring Earth is a non-profit organization that sends you prints for free!
Well, not exactly for free, it costs 2€ for shipping costs
You get 1 print for 2 €uro. The strains change a lot, but all are good strains.
The idea of the Free Spore Ring Earth is to provide spores at a cheap price. You can request a strain, if they have it you get it. If not, they will send another strain.
To keep the Free Spore Ring Earth going they ask you after you have been successful, to send back some prints. This keeps the ring going, and allows others to receive prints at the 2 €uro price as you did.
These prints were made by all of us that contribute to the The Free Spore Ring Earth.
Without you sending back prints….the Free Spore Ring Earth would not last long.
This way..the ring grows and continues…
The system is very straightforward, here's a picture tutorial from the official site
You can also find another spore ring from canada here, they also stock some medicinal and edible mushrooms besides cubensis
Happy growing :)
