A password, banking account information, or maybe you are straight out doing something illegal like dealing drugs on the internet (shame on you!!!)
I've talked about Safe-Mail Before, free encrypted e-mail... but if the authorities ask them, depending on the circumstances obviously, they may have to show them your mail inbox.
The solution is to send a message that self-destructs after reading!
I Present you One-Time-Secret, and ill just quote from them
Besides self-destructing, they also have the option to set up a password (random or pre-defined) and even send e-mails for you
Other similar service is PrivNote
If that's not enough, maybe you are more than a little paranoid (sending a sex tape? i'm not judging) i suggest you also send your secret link trough safe-mail, just in case there is a man in the middle to read the message before your target.
It's not 100% secure, but you have to be dumb or they have to be really smart (social engineering is the way to go guys) to catch you...
For example, you send your secret link trough Facebook, someone intercepts the message and reads it.... takes a print screen and now has access to your secret message. You will know someone who was'nt your intended recipient read it, but what can you do?
If you are realllllly paranoid and this ain't enough, maybe you are into gun smuggling ot whatever, you can always make a secret-link chain (i do it for trolling people) and get your final secret link into the metadata of a porn image or something
