Aniracetam Fueled Shroom Experience

The whole family of Racetams potentiate psychedelics, and most drugs for that matter, to ilustrate this effect i decided to share this trip report i found @ bluelight

"I have been experimenting with -racetams lately and have also been stacking it with CDP-Choline. My most recent one is aniracetam which seemed to be providing the focus without the jitters that Noopept and Phenylpiracetam give me. I also am extremely experienced with psilocybin mushrooms and have eaten out of this very batch with friends a few times, strong, euphoric, very high quality. I've never combined the two.

It was a nice Saturday and I was planning to hang out with some friends at a local arcade that just opened. I have a 250mg dose of CDP-Choline and ~750mg aniracetam at about 4:00. Then, at about 7, I have another 750mg dose of aniracetam. Friends arrive, we go check out the arcade, walk home in the rain, get back to my place where we're drinking whiskey and smoking cannabis, playing a board game. After we're hanging out for a while, I remember this new batch of shrooms I bought and wanted to give some to my friends to take with them (or eat now if they want). I decide what the hell, I'll just eat a cap while we're kickin' it, this is nothing abnormal for me and my friends. The time is about 12 or 1am.

Aniracetam

It's been a while since i introduced you to a nootropic, this one wouldn't be my first choice, but it's great for cycling with Piracetam or Noopept!

About: Aniracetam is a racetamic and Ampakine drug that is slightly higher in potency than Piracetam. It was developed in the 1970’s by chemist, Hoffmann La-Roche and can be synthesized by reacting GABA or 2-Pyrrolidone with Anisoyl choloride. Aniracetam is fat soluble and its half-life is considerably shorter than the other racetams. The substance was used as parent compound to help create the new nootropic Ampakine drug class.
Recommended Dosage: 1-2 g
Administration Route: Aniracetam is fat soluble, so you should take it with food

N-acetylcysteine - Nootropic, medicine, psychiatric tool

For a while I've been wanting to write about N-acetylcysteine, but i found the perfect post about it over at DMT-Nexus, so i will literally just copy paste, forgive my laziness but i couldn't improve this post at all!

Adventures in Neuroscience - Episode 1 - NAC

By: The Cosmic Lion

If you don't care about the science or my explanation, skip straight to the Conclusions section at the end for the concise summary and dosage recommendation!

NAC, or N-acetylcysteine, can be found over the coutner at most GNC's and many health food stores. GNC sells the 600mg pills, fairly weak, it is ideal to seek the 1,000mg pills due to the high recommended dosages.

NAC is all at once a nooptropic (smart drug), a physical medicine, and a serious psychiatric tool

NAC is an acetylized version of the natural amino-acid cysteine that is a precursor to Glutamate, which effects the Glutamate system, which is responsible for learning, memory, motivation and cognition. It has a TON of medical application already. Additionally, recent studies show psychiatric effects on the glutmate, dopamine and NMDA brain systems.

Bear with me here, this post is long but filled with goodies. I present you here with MY summary, Wiki + WedMD info, then at the end the NEW info regarding its new use in psychiatry (Including a CUSTOM dose recommendation!). I will also explain the relevance of each quote after its posted. Stay tuned.

DPCPX :: Caffeine Analogue :: Psychedelic Potentiator

I love caffeine, so i decided to take a look at some analogues out there, therefore I present you my favorite!

The Analogue

Meet Dipropylcyclopentylxanthine, or DPCPX, this caffeine analogue acts as a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, and is almost as potent as the nootropic rolipram at inhibiting PDE4, Like most PDE4-inhibitors, it is an anti-inflammatory drug.

Noopept

The next Nootropic im going to talk about is my favorite, Noopept!

About: Noopept is a peptide-derived nootropic that is closely related to the racetam family. It has higher bioavailability than the racetams. Although, it is not technically a racetam, it carries a similar method of action to the drug class.
Recommended Dosage: 10-40 mg
Warning: Noopept is semi-water soluble. Do not use if you are pregnant/breastfeeding.

Piracetam

Remember the post about nootropics? Today i present you Piracetam, one of the first racetams to be discovered

About: Piracetam was developed by Romanian chemist, Corneliu E. Giurgea in 1964. It was created by converting 2-pyrrolidinone into an amide. Piracetam was the first racetam developed and has a long history of use in the medical field.
Recommended Dosage: 1-3 g
Administration Route: Piracetam is water soluble, so it should be taken on an empty stomach

Nootropics, Introduction to the Wonder Drugs!

What if i told you cold boost your brain with little to no consequences? Welcome to the fascinating world of nootropics!

The word, “Nootropic” is a very broad term describing a supplement or drug that increases mental performance. There are several different groups of nootropics but the most popular is the Racetam family. Theanine (found in tea) and Caffeine can also be considered nootropics.

Some of the many common benefits you may experience with nootropic supplements are:

- Enhanced Learning
- Improved Memory
- Increased Focus
- Increased Sensory Perception
- Improved Problem Solving
- Enhanced Mood

All this seems too good to be true right? Why isn't everyone using this stuff daily? Seems like the holy grail of high school students to me
